Start a Chapter

If you are passionate about helping animals and ready to create a community of dedicated teenagers, starting a YARI chapter is perfect for you. As a chapter leader, you will gain incredible experience and foster volunteerism in your area.

How it Works

First, grab two friends who love animals as much as you; they will be your coordination team. No worries if you don't have a team in mind yet, send us an email, and we can help. Next, read up on our mission and familiarize yourself with our program components. Once you're feeling ready, have each prospective team member fill out our New Chapter Application below:

Your Responsibilities

YARI chapters are responsible for organizing events in their area (goal is 1 per month). Alongside your two team members, you will work to facilitate relationships with local animal rescues, businesses, and recruit other teenage members as volunteers. New chapters are thoroughly trained by our board members and guided through their first events. Feel free to contact us if you have questions before proceeding!
